What is health? the state of being free from illness or injury.
What is wellness? the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.
What are lifestyle factors? things that can impact our health that can be controlled.
What are risk factors? any attribute, characteristic or exposure of an individual that increases the likelihood of developing a disease or injury.
What is prevention? the action of stopping something from happening or arising.
What is heredity? the passing on of physical or mental characteristics genetically from one generation to another.
What is an environment? the natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical area, especially as affected by human activity.
What are peers? a person of the same age, status, or ability as another specified person.
What is culture? the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
What are values? a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life.
What is abstinence? the fact or practice of restraining oneself from indulging in something, typically alcohol.
What is Cumulative risk? effects of exposure to diverse environmental factors, including both chemical and nonchemical stressors.
What are goals? the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.
